I’ve just read Rebecca Frost Davis’ excellent post about crowdsourcing & undergraduate education. It (much more eloquently) gets at much I was trying to say below: that DH approaches can enrich an undergraduate curriculum, teaching students “real world” research and collaboration skills, while creating something for a larger community. So many texts are crying out for editors, translators, readers… If the tasks can fit the general theme of the class, why not enable undergrads to help preserve the past?
